Getting to Costa Rica
Flying into Liberia International Airport (LIR)

To get to the wedding celebration, you'll want to fly into Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR), commonly known as Liberia Airport. It’s the closest airport to the Papagayo Peninsula—just about 30–40 minutes from the Andaz.
Flight Tips
-
LIR is a small, efficient international airport located in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
-
Direct flights are available from many major cities in the U.S. and Canada.
-
You need a passport that’s valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.
-
While lines are not long at all most of the time at Liberia, for an easy connection back to the US, we recommend getting a digital passport because there is never a line for customs on that line.

Transportation:
-
Destination Experts, the transportation company, will coordinate all transportation from the airport and to wedding events, which is taken care of throughout the weekend.
-
Their team will be reaching out to collect flight details and coordinate transportation accordingly
-
Guests staying at Planet Hollywood will also be able to coordinate transportation directly through Destination Experts

Tip:
-
Costa Rica uses WhatsApp for most local communication—it's handy to download before you arrive!
